S.O.D. "Destroyer" by The Cars

9/9/2018      This 1981 release features elements of other songs from the group, such as the transvestite Lola and the main guitar riff of "All Day and All of the Night." The groups main songwriter, lead singer and rhythm guitar player, Ray Davies, composed the song.  Davies, sometimes referred to as the 'Godfather of Britpop' has been called rock's most literate, witty and insightful songwriter.
