S.O.D. "When I Fall in Love" by Doris Day

7/28/2018      First heard in the 1952 war film, "One Minute to Zero,"  sung by Jeri Southern.  Well over 100 versions would follow, with Day having the first real hit in the same year.  Nat King Cole recorded his rendition in 1956, and 40 years later he would team with his daughter Natalie to take home 2 Grammys for their vocal performance.  The timeless work was written by composer, conductor, and violinist Victor Young, and lyricist/producer Edward Heyman.
