S.O.D. "'Round Midnight" by the Thelonious Monk Quartet

6/26/2018      Monk is said to have first recorded this in 1940 or '41.  He may have composed an earlier version at the age of 19 and 1936.  Many versions have been attempted, making it the most recorded jazz standard that was actually composed by a jazz musician.  There is a cool movie having to do with jazz, called "'Round Midnight."
