S.O.D. "I'm A Train" by Albert Hammond

4/13/2018      Hammond wrote the tune alongside Mike Hazelwood in the late 60s. Two other versions were recorded before Hammond's in 1974. His was the first to chart.  Hammond is still going strong, in his 58th year of music. He has written and produced successful songs for artists such as Willie Nelson Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, The Carpenters, Chicago, and many more.  Some prestigious awards have come his way including the Ivor Novello for outstanding song collection and the Order of the British Empire.
