S.O.D. "Roland the Roadie and Gertrude the Groupie" by Dr. Hook

4/26/2018     Some of us might recall the name Shel Silverstein.  He is the author of the entertaining books, "Where The Sidewalk Ends" and "A Light In The Attic."  He is also a songwriter, and wrote this song as well as Dr. Hook's hit, "Cover of the Rolling Stone." This song was released in 1973 and has to do with a romance between a roadie and a groupie and how it's just not going to work. Dr. Hook has some great songs, some of it crazy and comical.
