S.O.D. "Strange Kind of Woman" by Deep Purple

2/4/2018     This song was originally called “Prostitute,” And refers to a friend of the band’s.  A sad story follows.  During live performances, guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and vocalist Ian Gillan would have somewhat of a guitar-vocal duel around the middle of the song.  The song was released in 1971, went to #8 on the UK charts and can be found on the “Fireball” album.
