S.O.D. "Relaxin' at the Touro" by Muggsy Spanier
12/17/2018 This gifted cornet and trumpet player had his life saved by Dr. Alton Ochsner in 1938 concerning a perforated ulcer. He was staying at the Touro Infirmary in New Orleans at the time. He also wrote a song called “Oh Dr. Ochsner” to show his gratitude. He was active from 1921 to 1964 and hails from Chicago.
