S.O.D. "You Belong To Me" by Jo Stafford

1/25/2018     This was #1 on the Top 100 Pop Songs list in 1952.  At a young age she trained to be an opera singer and by 1952, well into her pop career, she had sold more records worldwide than any other female artist.  This 1952 tune was the very first by a female artist to reach #1 in the UK.  Her record releases total 110 albums and 96 singles.  Stafford was also an actress, and her musical career lasted from the 30s to the 80s.
