S.O.D. "Flyin' Saucer Rock 'n' Roll" by Bill Riley
2/1/2017 The video is ridiculous and hilarious. Lots of songs about aliens if you care to dabble. Riley learned guitar from black farmworkers and began his recording career in 1955, starting out in Memphis, TN. This tune was his very first hit, and Jerry Lee Lewis provides back up piano. If Lewis had not emerged, it is agreed by many that Riley would have been a bigger star with more success.
Riley was a huge influence on Bob Dylan, who did a very nice tribute for him. Riley passed on to Music Heaven in 2009.
