12/12/2017     This 1980 new wave, synthpop hit charted in eight countries, going to #1 in France and Spain. It employees an instrument called the guzheng, also known as a Chinese zither that contains 18 strings, which you can hear after each chorus.  Lead singer and bassist at the time, James Warren, wrote the song in less than 15 minutes.  The British group formed in 1978 and are presently making music. Their 3 hiatuses totaled 19 years. This is their most successful song out of their 25 released singles.
