S.O.D. "She Moves Among Men (The Barmaid's Song) by June Tabor"

1/18/2017     Many of you probably do not recognize this name and a lot of times that's the name we need to pay attention to.  June is quite the vocal force with no musical training whatsoever. She learned to sing by listening to other singers, English vocalist Anne Briggs in particular.  When June was 18 she locked herself in the bathroom for a fortnight (14 days) and and learned every note from Briggs' EP, "Hazards of Love."  She stated that if she had not heard that record, she may have had a totally different career. 

     She does all kinds of different stuff including comedy.  The experts, writers, officials, executives, groupies, janitors and even our pet yellow retriever Bonham at S.O.D. Headquarters consider it a requirement to look her up.  She is a Wonder!!!
