S.O.D. "Take A Back Road" by Rodney Atkins

8/23/2016     The perfect escape song and a #1 hit on Billboard's Hot Country Songs.  If you heard a George Strait song while stuck in traffic, would you want to drive down a country back road? This guy sure did.  Written by songwriters Luke Laird and Rhett Akins, The idea for the tune came to Akins after hearing a friend say "I want to ride a dirt road right now,"   while listening to a Hank Williams Jr  album.
