S.O.D. "White Lies, Blue Eyes" by Bullet

6/8/2016    How about this active time span, 1971-1972.  Not doing to bad though, as they managed to classify themselves as a one hit wonder.  Many bands make an album or two or even three with nothing becoming popular.  Needless to say, there is not a long list of members, with the only line up being Roget Pontbriand on keyboards and lead vocals, guitartist Ernie Sorrentino, drummer Mike Micara and Joey Stann as the master saxophonist.  

     Upon their disbandment, they went their separate ways with Pontbriand playing for KC and the Sunshine Band and Wild Cherry.  Joey Stann went on to provide his talents for Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, and the Werewolves.
