S.O.D. "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" by England Dan and John Ford Coley

3/10/2015      A popular 1976 soft rock song from their album "Nights Are Forever."  Released as a single it ranked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Easy Listening chart. For the end of the year, Billboard ranked it at #21 for 1976.

England Dan, born Danny Wayland Seals and John Ford Coley, born John Edward Coley were an American soft rock duo active from 1970-1980 and originated in Dallas, Texas.  After they split, Dan Seals continued to perform and had a successful country music career through the 80s that produced 11 #1 country hits.  Seals passed away in 2009 from mantle cell lymphoma. Coley got involved with television and film appearances in the 80s, returning to an active tour schedule in the 90s and 2000s. During this time he co-produced for artists such as Vince Gill, Tom Wurth and Eddie Money.

This was always one of my favorite songs to do at karaoke.
