S.O.D. "Low" by Cracker
4/3/2015 From their album "Kerosene Hat" comes this alternative rock hit written by David Lowery-guitars and lead vocals, Johnny Hickman-lead guitarist and the band's bassist Davey Faragher. On the charts it came in at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 but did well on two other U.S. charts, ranking at #5 on the Album Rock Tracks and #3 on Modern Rock Tracks.
Cracker was formed in 1991 by Lowery and Hickman. They have released 10 studio albums, many compilation albums and a few live albums. A wide genre mix of punk, psychedelic, country, blues, rock, folk and post grunge. Kerosene Hat sold nearly half a million copies the year it was produced, eventually bypassed Gold status and just came short of going platinum. A number of their songs reached social media appearing in different films including the tune "Low" featured in "The Wolverine" and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower".
