S.O.D. "I Know There's Something Going On" by Anni-Frid Lyngstad

3/5/2015     The vocalist from ABBA distanced herself from the band's traditional pop style during their unofficial break in 1983.  Written by English musician and songwriter Russ Ballard formally of Argent, and produced by Genesis drummer and vocalist Phil Collins who provided the drumming for the song.  

     Released in 1983 it became a hit throughout most of the world shooting to #1 in Belgium, Switzerland, Costa Rica and spending five weeks at #1 in France. It also made the top 10 in Australia, South Africa and most of Europe. In the US it ranked at #13 on the charts and ended up ranking at #20 on Billboard's End of the Year Chart. 

     In 1997 Frito recorded her final album. She has since concentrated on environmental issues and intends to never return to music. In 1982 she won the Swedish music prize Rockbjornen  for Best Female Artist
