S.O.D. "Fly At Night by Chilliwack

11/10/2016      From the Pacific Northwest into Canada there are the Salishan languages where the word chiliwack comes from.  It means "valley of many streams."   Active from 1970–1988 the rock/progressive rock group from Vancouver, Canada has created 16 albums and 27 singles.  Guitarist and lead vocalist Bill Henderson has been the long-standing member and reformed the band in 1997.  

     The group was at their finest from 1981-82 after they signed with Solid Gold Records.  Rolling Stone magazine wrote that they were the best Canadian band ever at that point.  These days, the group is still trekking through Canada performing mostly at outdoor events.
