S.O.D. "All I Want Is You"

11/24/2015     S.O.D. "All I Want Is You" by Barry Louis Polisar.  This is a special man here, traveling the world for the sake of children learning how to read.  He has written numerous children's books and songs, receiving many outstanding awards along the way. One particular award kind of says it all: Maryland Library Association's Special Recognition Award.  It is for his ability to communicate with children and excite them to read. 

     Of his 14 albums, "Old Dogs New Tricks" was named one of the 20 best Children's Recordings of all time in The American Libraries Association Children's Jukebox and Award Hall of Fame.  

     You might see him on TV performing or you may know some of his songs from the show Sesame Street. This tune was the opening music in the 2007 film Juno starring Ellen Page.
