11/20/2015 How about some Hancock, an instrumental with the art of turn-tabling by GrandMixer D.ST. When this musical form emerged, he influenced many who took the challenge. It's a 1983 release from his album "Future Shock" and charted in 13 countries, taking the #1 spot on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart. The music video snagged 5 MTV Video Music Awards.
Lending a hand with the writing aside from Hancock is bassist Bill Laswell and musician/producer, Michael Beinhorn who worked with the synthesizer and drum machine on the tune.
Hancock is one of the most influential jazz musicians of all time and mixes elements of jazz, blues and classical. He has released more then 50 albums and is in his 54th year of amazing sound dealing with 11 genres. Anything having to do with a piano or keyboard, you can count on him being a master.
