The songwriting team of Brian Alexander 'B. A." Robertson and Mike Rutherford, the band's guitarist at the time, composed the 1985 soft rock release. It was produced by Christopher Neil who has produced records for many musicians including, Bonnie Tyler, Rod Stewart, The Moody Blues and Sheena Easton. On the charts it ranked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Due to the song's references to war, religion and weaponry, the tune was banned by the BBC during the Gulf War. The English group is still rocking today after taking a 6 year hiatus from 2004-2010. They have released 8 albums in all.
