S.O.D. "Indians" by Anthrax

10/25/15     The first single from their 1987 album "Among the Living", it remains one of their most popular songs.  Anthrax, in case you did"t know is a heavy/thrash metal band who became popular in the mid-eighties with other groups of the same genre.  All five band members at the time wrote the tune and had a hand in producing along with Eddie Kramer.  

     The originated in 1981 in NY City and were the only heavy metal band from the East coast among the 4 most popular at that time.  the other 3 were Megadeath, Metallica and Slayer.  The were more punk influenced then the rest, expressing this with a faster tempo and brighter clothing.

     Lead vocalist, Joey Belladonna returned in 2010 and is still belting it out for them.  They have gone through 3 other singers.  The group is currently on tour with Iron Maiden in South America.
