S.O.D. "Imaginary Lover" by Atlanta Rhythm Section
10/14/15
In 1971 this group came together in Doraville, Georgia, concentrating on southern rock, folk rock and soft rock. With hits like "Champagne Jam", "Do It Or Die", "Neon Nights", and "So Into You", they held onto their loyal fans and had a very profitable career. With bands of the same era, they are still jamming with original members, Dean Daughtry on keyboards and lead vocalist, Rodney Justo. Daughtry is the only member that has stayed constant from the beginning.
They have released 13 albums and have influenced a number of artists including Travis Tritt, who normally covers many of their songs. 'Imaginary Lover" and "So Into You", both reaching #7 on the U.S. charts are their two biggest hits.
